Sadly we had to make the decision to put Tyson to sleep on Saturday. It feels like only yesterday he was born in my wardrobe 14 years and 8 months ago. Huskies are renowned for their markings; and as a puppy on his underbelly Tyson had a white heart in the middle of his dark grey fur. A white heart generally signifies pure love, emotional support, and a close bond. We knew this boy would be special, and he was.... After surviving a difficult birth, we bottle fed him as a pup, we then watched him grow into the most incredible dog who never stopped smiling. Tyson was a people lover, friendly, affectionate, playful, caring, loyal, and more loving, he was just all round special in every way. Tyson was not just part of the home, he made the home feel like home. In life Tyson has seizured, was hit by a car at 40mph, survived 2 serious cancer operations, and over the past few years he has fought through arthritis before his legs gave way over 3 months ago. For over 3 months Tyson required daily assistance and we supported him by alleviating weight on his back legs, to some this was cruel but to us this was a blessing. Huskies are a resialiant breed and we did nothing but love him. In return Tyson did nothing but love everything back and he never stopped smiling as he continued to push himself, outliving his years and then the months to make many more memories... more walks, more meeting friends both old and new, and more tons more love.  We knew the dreaded day would come, but it still came as a surprise as it was not the result of his legs. The day before Tyson was spirited and went on a 30 minute walk. The next day we noticed he had an infestation. We cleaned, treated and removed. Despite several cleans, with the hot weather the infestations kept appearing and in the space of 8 hours Tysons demeanor dropped. He became restless then sadly had a short moment of distress until he finally rested calmly for a few hours while we waited for the vets to arrive. Tyson was surrounded and given constant love by the 3 people that have been in his life all of these years. Tyson has taught me many things but his best lesson was showing me that love makes us stronger and his love did just that for me,  when i am with him he makes me feel invincible. You have not just been the biggest part of my life, you have been the best part of my life, my baby boy, and I have never hesitated in saying that the one thing I am most proud of is you.... I will miss you endlessly. Go join your mum Ice, your step dad PJ, and your grandad Zak and all the pussy cat family. I can't wait to see you again over the rainbow bridge. I love you so much my special boy, and not a single day will go where you will not be in my heart. You were one of a kind, I always knew you would be Rest in Peace Tyson My baby boy
